RE Week 1 - Be still and know that I am God

Be_Still_Term_4_Image_2020.png

Our focus this term is "Be still and know that I am God." We will focus on Jesus and how he shows us the way to God. We will also explore God as Creator through Friday Community Prayer.

Our symbol for the term is a butterfly. The butterfly is a symbol of transformation and joy. Our lives are transformed as we come to know God. We come to know God though prayer, scripture and Jesus. The butterfly also represents the human soul due to its grace, beauty and dramatic life cycle. We experience joy as we continue to develop our relationship God.

Reconciliation

The reconciliation information night is on Wednesday Week 2 (21st October) 6:30 - 7:30pm at the church. The information night is for parents of students who will be participating in the sacrament of reconciliation this term.

It is important that an adult attends this session. You will learn about the Sacramental process, receive your information pack and meet your home group. If you are unable to attend this night, please contact Geoffrey Ryan on 62314144 or via email at geoffrey.ryan@cg.catholic.edu.au before the meeting to make alternate arrangements. Due to social restrictions we ask that children do not attend this night. If this presents a challenge to you, please contact us and we will assist you. We look forward to sharing this special time with you.
