Principal's Report
Dear Parents/Carers,
Learning Assets
This week I want to share with you our last learning asset number 6; “I am a researcher”.
Teaching children the skills to find answers and interrogate information is an important skill to learn. Finding answers to problems or looking for information that is accurate and appropriate is a prerequisite for proactive learners. Researchers need to be curious, courageous, resourceful, questioners and investigators. There are many ways to find out information and learning how to do this is certainly a skill that helps life-long learners.

Our wonderful choir will be heading to St John Vianney’s Primary at Waramanga next Wednesday 4 September. This is to participate in ‘The Big Sing’, an annual event for schools to participate in a HUGE choir experience. Thank you to Ms Duffy and Mr Nguyen for taking the children along to the event.
Staff News
Congratulations to Jacinta Housler, one of our staff members who has been nominated for an ASG National Excellence Teaching Award. Jacinta is currently on Leave but is hugely proud and excited to have been nominated.
RUOK?Day
On Thursday 12 September for part of the day children and teachers are celebrating R U OK?Day. This day is a national day of action dedicated to reminding everyone to ask, “Are you OK?” and to remember every day of the year to support people who may be struggling with life’s ups and downs.
Many blessings and thank you for your continued support
