Unfortunately, due to inclement weather the Athletics Carnival has been postponed from Friday the 9th of August to Tuesday the 13th of August. Children do not have to nominate races again, we will use the nominations that have already been entered. The link for online nominations is now closed. Children will be allowed to enter any race for their age group on the day, even if they have not nominated online. Long Jump, Discus and Shot Put have been completed during class time at school and the finals will be run at the carnival. Students will be notified if they have made the finals for their age group.

Boorowa

Teams for the Boorowa Touch Football and Netball carnival are taking shape. Nominations for the carnival have now closed as the teams have reached capacity. We have had enough entries to create 5 teams to send on the day. More information will be sent out closer to the carnival towards the end term.

Catholic Schools Netball Carnival

The Catholic School Netball Carnival will be hosted by Rosary Primary School on the 19th of October. The carnival will be run at the Tuggeranong Netball Association Courts. Information notes and registration forms will come home with students this Friday. Registration forms will need to be returned to the school by Wednesday the 21st August.

Winter Ride or Walk to School Week

Week 4 is Winter Ride or Walk to school Week! We encourage you to choose a day during this week to ride or walk to school with your child. Attached is a flyer about setting up a routine for active travel. Each time a student rides or walks to school during the week they will receive points for their house. The house with the most points at the end of the week will receive a prize! This is a great way to stay warm during winter!
