Dear Parents and Carers,
A few little things for you to take away from the week that was!
Before School
We have a large number of students arriving to school before 8:30am when our teachers begin their supervision. For the safety of our students we ask that they do not arrive at school before this time.
School uniform and smart watches
As we are heading into some warmer weather over the coming days, you have the option of either the winter or summer school uniform for the remainder of the term. This will also be the option for the first two weeks of Term 4. Transition to full summer uniform will be from Week 3 of Term 4. Please remember to label all your child’s belongings – uniforms, water bottles, lunch containers and shoes!
Furthermore, it has been noted that a number of our students have smart watches at school. This is a timely reminder that any smart watched with wi-fi connectivity with the ability to access music or take photos is strictly prohibited. If we do see a student with this device, we will ask them to remove it and send it to the front office.
School Community Council Open Night

A visit from Catholic Education South Australia
On Wednesday we had the privilege of hosting the leadership team from Catholic Education South Australia. They spent time talking to our leadership team about how we are implementing the Catalyst program across the school. Engaging in this conversation made me reflect on the positive impact and change we have made in the way we deliver the curriculum to your children. All decisions we make at a school level are to improve outcomes across a range of areas for our students. In their visits to our classrooms they watched effective lessons being taught where all students were engaged in learning.
Yours in Christ,
Susan Chant
Acting Principal
